01
Event Risk Assessment
Assessing the event before anyone is deployed — venue layout, expected attendance, entry and egress capacity, pinch points, emergency exits and the flow patterns the space will actually produce. The plan comes out of this, not before it.

02
Crowd Control & Access
Access control, ticket and accreditation verification, and queue management using barriers, signage and staffed lanes. Designed so entry and exit stay orderly under load rather than only when the venue is half full.
Accreditation · queues · barriers
03
Emergency Response Planning
Evacuation routes and procedures, medical coordination, and a communication protocol that works when the PA is competing with a crowd. Rehearsed with the team before doors, not distributed as a document nobody reads.
Evacuation · medical · protocol
04
Communication Systems
Two-way radio, surveillance and public address, with a channel plan and call protocol agreed in advance so the organiser, the venue and our supervisors are on the same net and not shouting over each other.
Radio · CCTV · PA · channel plan
05
Staff Training & Coordination
Crowd staff trained in conflict resolution, customer service and crowd dynamics before deployment, then briefed on the specific venue. Supervisors work directly alongside the organiser rather than reporting in afterwards.

Marshals & Stewards
Deployed at the density the risk assessment calls for, positioned against the plan and moved as the event develops. Fixed posts for access and egress, roaming teams where the crowd is fluid.
